Angelo State's one-two punch too much for @MWSUVball

THE RUNDOWN
WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Angelo State's one-two punch of Sundara Chinn and Anna Graham combined for 30 kills as the Rambelles raced to a 25-12, 23-25, 25-15, 25-16 win over Midwestern State Friday night in Lone Star Conference play at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.

The Mustangs (2-13, 0-7 in the Lone Star Conference) continued a five-match home stand Saturday afternoon against No. 19 Tarleton State. First serve is set for 2 p.m.

Chinn put down a match-high 18 kills hitting an efficient .342, while Graham was flawless in 25 attacks chipping in 12 kills as the Rambelles hit better than .300 as a team in each of their winning sets.

MSU Texas produced shining defensive moments as four different players had at least 10 digs led by freshman defensive specialist Samantha Manio with 15.

Junior Sarah Eakin had a hand in each of the Mustangs' seven blocks, while junior Erin Richburg paced the attack with 13 kills.

Angelo State claimed its fourth consecutive win to improve to 13-4 and 6-1.
