ODESSA, Texas – Junior
Rory O'Keeffe scored a pair of goals as No. 4 Midwestern State remained unbeaten in its last 31 matches with a 2-0 win over UT Permian Basin on Thursday in Odessa.
The Irishman scored in the 29th minute on a set piece and in the 67th minute on a penalty kick.

Sergio Lara lofted a corner kick into the box where O'Keeffe headed the ball inside the post. Lara found the Irishman for his team-leading third assist of the year.
MSU Texas dominated possession in the first half, limiting the Falcons to two shots and none on goal while firing 17 shots and six on frame in the first 45 minutes.
The Mustangs kept the pressure on in the second half, taking an additional 10 shots after the intermission.
In the 67th-minute, the Falcons were called for a foul in the box. O'Keeffe buried the opportunity to stake the Maroon and Gold to a 2-0 advantage.
O'Keeffe became the second MSU Texas player this season to score multiple goals in a game, matching
Gui Leme's two goal performance against Newman and St. Mary's.

Taylor Lampe made a pair of saves as the MSU Texas defense stymied the Falcons, limiting just nine shots in the contest.
