THE RUNDOWN
WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Top-ranked Midwestern State put seven shots on frame, including one in each overtime period in a 1-1 draw with Texas A&M International on Saturday at the MSU Practice Field.
 
Although it wasn't the result they were hoping for, the Mustangs ran their unbeaten streak to 30-consecutive matches and 20-straight at home.
 
Senior 
Kristian Martinez scored his first career goal on a header in front of the right post off a free kick from 
Juan Ramirez in the 57
th-minute.
 
Six minutes later, the Dustdevils pulled even when Cem Izgec hit a shot from 15 yards out.
 
Junior 
Ross Fitzpatrick led the Mustangs with two shots on goal while junior 
Sergio Lara tallied four shots.
 
MSU Texas had ample opportunity on set pieces, taking 11 corner kicks in the contest, including nine in the second half and overtime periods.
 
Redshirt sophomore 
Taylor Lampe logged three saves in 110 minutes between the pipes.
