FAJARDO, Puerto Rico -- Former Midwestern State All American Eric Dawson is making a return to the Baloncesto Superior Nacional (BSN) to join the Cariduros de Fajardo.
 
Dawson earned selection to the BSN All-State Game in his last stint in Puerto Rico averaging 11.7 points and 9.7 rebounds in 40 games for the Leones de Ponce in 2017.
 
He is coming off of an outstanding run for Comunicaciones averaging 16 points and 13.3 rebounds in 23 games as a three-time player of the week in Liga Argentina.
 
Dawson was a Basketball Times second-team All-American leading Midwestern State to a Lone Star Conference title and a South Central Region semifinal appearance leading NCAA Division II with 23 double-doubles to average 17.4 points and 11.4 rebounds a game as a senior in 2006-07.
 
The 6-9, 235-pounder from San Antonio is MSU's all-time leader with 170 blocked shots in his two seasons at Midwestern. He also sported averages of 15.7 points and 9.8 rebounds his junior season.
 
Dawson appearance in four games with the San Antonio Spurs as the highlight of a no 11-year professional basketball career.
 
He has spanned the globe during the time covering 10 different countries on four continents -- Europe, Asia and both North and South Americas.
 
Dawson has made his living playing in China, the Dominican Republic, France, Iran, Japan, Korea, Philippines, NBA, NBA G League, Puerto Rico and also the EuroBasket Summer League.
