PENSACOLA, Fla. – No. 15 Midwestern State clinched its first top-15 win of the season with a 7-2 upset of No. 11 Georgia College Saturday afternoon at the Ralph Carson Tennis Complex.
 
The 9th-ranked duo of senior Ramon Toyos and sophomore Dillon Pineda claimed the first point of the match with an 8-4 win over Christian Graff and Kyle Kinsler at the number one doubles position. Next off the court was sophomore Dylan Hall and freshman Angel Palacios with an 8-3 victory over Pedro Ecenarro and Mattia Campus on court two. At No. 3, senior Chris Norrie and sophomore Denney Norrie completed the doubles sweep defeating Vincent Castermans and Anton Waern, 8-6.
 
In singles, Hall pushed Midwestern's lead to 4-0 with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Castermans on court four before Pineda clinched the match for the Mustangs (6-5) at No. 6 handing Kinsler a 7-5, 6-1 loss.

Junior Vasudev Vijayaraman put another point on the board for Midwestern with a 6-4, 6-4 decision over Waern at the number three spot before No. 5 Toyos claimed Midwestern's final point on court one with a 6-3, 4-6, 10-6 win over Graff.
 
The Bobcats (7-4) earned a third set win at No. 2 with Ecenarro rallying from a set down to defeat Palacios, 4-6, 6-2, 10-7. Campus also posted a three-set victory at No. 5 outlasting Norrie, 6-4, 4-6, 10-8.
 
The Mustangs are back in action Tuesday as they take on Metro State (Colo.) at the MSU Tennis Complex. First serve is set for 3:30 p.m.
