STAT OF THE GAME
22 – Midwestern State scored all four of its goals in the final 22 minutes of play Saturday afternoon
QUOTE OF THE GAME
"I was really proud of the guys because we didn't panic and stayed composed. We could have easily come out in the second half and started to force things but we kept pressing and creating chances. That's the biggest thing I take from this victory is overcoming the frustration. I'm really happy for the defense and expect them to take a lot of pride in getting a shutout. When you're up 3 or 4-0, it's easy to take your foot off the gas. I thought (Jordan) Speed and Patrick (Fitzgerald) did a good job of controlling the middle and we didn't make a lot of stupid mistakes." – Head coach
Doug Elder
