KINGSVILLE, Texas -- Midwestern State claimed an 8-1 decision over Laredo Community College Saturday afternoon at the King High School Tennis Courts.

Senior

The Neunkirchen, Germany native rolled to a 6-2, 7-6 for his 54th career singles victory after teaming with junior
Kyle Davidson for his 39th doubles win by an 8-1 margin over Josh Regalado and Eduardo Marquez.
Senior
Tomas Grejtak combined with sophomore
Ramon Toyos for an 8-6 win over Jose De Sario and Gavin Grivel at the No. 1 doubles spot, then Grejtak rolled to a 6-2, 6-0 victory over Grivel at No. 6 singles.
Toyos improved his singles mark to 13-4 this season by claiming his fourth straight win with a 6-2, 6-2 effort over Marquez at the No. 3 spot.
Sophomore
Chris Norrie upped hits season singles mark to 12-5 with a 6-0, 6-2 win over Regalado at No. 4 after combining with junior
Zack Santagate to a 9-8 win over Cody Arnold and Gabe Evans at No. 3 doubles.
Freshman
Matt Tyer claimed a 6-2, 6-1 win over Arnold at the No. 5 singles position, while De Sario claimed Laredo CC's lone point of the match taking a 6-4, 6-3 decision over Davision at the No. 2 singles position.
The Palominos, who came in ranked 8th in the NJCAA rankings, fell to 1-6 on the season.
Midwestern State plays host to St. Mary's (Texas) Thursday morning at the MSU Tennis Center. First serve is set for 10 a.m.
