PENSACOLA, Fla. -- No. 15 Midwestern State challenged top-ranked West Florida Tuesday afternoon at Ralph "Skeeter" Carson Tennis Complex before falling 7-2.
The loss snapped snapped MSU's five-match winning streak as the Mustangs fell 8-3 on the season.
Midwestern continues its annual spring break trip Wednesday taking on 20th-ranked Georgia College at 9:30 a.m. in Pensacola.

Ramon Toyos highlighted the Mustangs' effort against the Argos claiming wins at the Nos. 2 and 3 singles positions, respectively.
Davidson, the No. 32-ranked player in NCAA Division II, battled for a 7-6, 4-6, 12-10 win over No. 30 Kenny Brasil for his fourth consecutive win at No. 2, while Toyos extended his personal winning to six with a 7-5, 7-6 victory over Pablo Borrero at No. 3.
MSU battled UWF closely in many other position as senior
Kacper Boborykin fell 4-6, 7-6, 3-10 to Warren Kuhn at No. 1,while freshman
Matt Tyer dropped two sets in tiebreakers (7-6, 7-6) to Sebastian Sanchez at No. 6 singles.
The Argos also completed the doubles sweep with a narrow 8-6 win by Alex Peyrot and Brasil over Toyos and
Tomas Grejtak at No. 2.
West Florida improved to 10-1 on the season after taking its first loss to No. 2-ranked Hawaii Pacific earlier in the week in La Jolla, Calif.
