Erin Knox drilled a two-run home run to lift the Mustangs to a 8-1 win over Colorado State-Pueblo Saturday afternoon in WT's Woodward Invitational at Buffalo Sports Park.
MSU, which claimed its third consecutive win to improve to 6-4 on the season, closes tournament play Sunday against Colorado Mesa and Adams State (Colo.) at 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., respectively.
Lasky drove in runs in her first two at bats against Thunderwolves delivering an RBI-single up the middle in the second inning before drilling a run-scoring double to center field in the fourth.
