WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Midwestern State breezed past Hardin-Simmons 9-0 Friday afternoon at the MSU Tennis Center.
It was MSU's 15th consecutive win over the Cowboys as the Mustangs improved to 3-1 on the season.
The Mustangs take on NCAA Division I Incarnate Word Friday afternoon at the UIW Tennis Court in San Antonio. First serve is set for 3 p.m.
Juniors
Kyle Davidson and
Zack Santagate fueled a doubles' sweep for the Mustangs as the duo claimed an 8-2 win over HSU's Nathan Chavez and Andrew Eurek at the No. 1 position.

Matt Tyer teamed for an 8-2 victory over Jordan Wilson and Sam May at No. 2 while sophomore
Ramon Toyos and senior
Tomas Grejtak defeated Chandler Livingston and Frankie Sanchez 8-0 at No. 3.
MSU rolled through each of the six singles' positions in straight sets to improve to an overall 18-6 team record through the first four matches of the season.
Boborykin rolled past May 6-4, 6-1 while Toyos and sophomore
Keegan Sullivan took 6-0, 6-0 victories over Chavez and Sanchez and Nos. 2 and 3, respectively.
Sophomore
Chris Norrie beat Ben Gutierrez 6-0, 6-2 at No. 4, Tyer ripped B.J. Farmakis 6-0, 6-3 at No. 5 and Santagate took Wilson 6-0, 6-2 at No. 6 to win his first collegiate singles' match.
Hardin-Simmons, the 18th ranked team in NCAA Division III's West Region, dropped to 0-2 on the season.
