SCOUTING THE RAMBELLES
Angelo State had its 10-game winning streak snapped when Cameron took the first two games of the four-game series last weekend in Lawton. The 'Belles bounced back to claim the final two games. They have now won 15 of their last 19 games. Sophomore first baseman Darian Dunn leads a potent offensive attack hitting .402 with nine doubles and 12 homers while driving in 62 runs in just 33 games for the Rambelles. Senior outfielder Morgan Spearman boasts a league leading .510 batting average with 11 doubles, a triple and six home runs while driving in 33 runs to go along with 15 stolen bases. Junior second baseman Micherie Koria hits .448 with six doubles and 22 stolen bases. Junior outfielder Rachel Moore (.368, 7 2B, 7 HR, 29 RBI) and freshman pitcher Kenedy Urbany (.350, 6 2B, 6 HR, 24 RBI) add to a deep offensive attack. Angelo State is second in the league with 47 homers while hitting an LSC team best .354 scoring 8.5 runs per game. Urbany (13-2, 3.48) is also ASU's top option in the circle, while seniors Mary Kate McKay (4-3, 3.48) and Sandra Serna (7-4, 3.50 ERA) have proven to be capable options.
