LAS VEGAS -- No. 17 Midwestern State had its six-match winning streak snapped by No. 5-ranked Hawaii Pacific 9-0 Tuesday afternoon at the Darling Tennis Center.
The Seawarriors rolled to 11-0 on the season after taking a the second of three matches this week which also included an 8-1 win over No. 10-ranked Fresno Pacific (Calif.) Monday afternoon.
MSU (7-3) takes on Fresno Pacific Wednesday afternoon before closing the week against No. 2 Armstrong Atlantic (Ga.) on Thursday.

Kacper Boborykin battled NCAA Division II's No. 2-ranked singles player Petr Michnev to two tight sets before falling 7-6, 7-5 at the No. 1 position, while

It was Midwestern's first loss since dropping a 5-4 decision to Trinity (Texas) on Feb. 15 in San Antonio. The Mustangs are now 2-1 against nationally ranked Division II opposition this season.
