ON THE COURT
- Midwestern State takes on Lynn (Fla.) in the second of three road games this week Monday night at De Hoernle Sports & Cultural Center in Boca Raton. Tipoff is set for 6:30 p.m.
- The Mustangs will travel 4,564 miles on the current road trips which includes two games in Florida — Nova Southeastern and Lynn — before finishing up at South Dakota Mines Thursday night in Rapid City, S.D.
ABOUT THE FIGHTING KNIGHTS
- Lynn has rolled up a 6-0 record sporting a 26-point margin of victory.
- The Fighting Knights are 3-0 against NCAA Division II competition boasting wins over Armstrong State (86-59), Seton Hill (94-71) and Sunshine State Conference foe Rollins (80-64).
- Senior Aaron Harrison leads a trio of Fighting Knights averaging in double figures with 18.8 points per game. The 6-5, 190-pound guard from Stuart, Fla. has scored 20-or-more points in three games this season including a high of 27 against Seton Hill.
- Junior forward David Johnson connects on 40 percent from the arc averaging 12.5 points per game going for a season-high 20 points against Puerto Rico-Mayaguez.
- Junior forward Pavile Raickovic drops in 11.7 points per game. He has scored in double figures in each of LU's six games this season.
- Lynn uses its full-court pressure to force 25.3 turnovers per game while shooting 51.9 percent from the field thus far this season. The Fighting Knights are out rebounding the opposition 40.5-30.5 through the first six games of 2014-15.
- Jeff Price is in his eighth season of his second stint at Lynn and boasts a 149-62 mark (.706) at the helm of the Fighting Knights. Overall, Price is 318-214 (.598) in his 20th year as a collegiate head coach including stints at Georgia Southern (138-133/10 years), South Alabama (12-8/1 year) and West Virginia Wesleyan (19-11/1 year).

MUSTANGS NOTEBOOK
- Midwestern State claimed its first road win of the season Saturday night routing Nova Southeastern 75-55 at NSU Arena at Don Taft University Center in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. The Mustangs are 1-2 in true road games this season.
- Each of MSU's seven wins this season have been by at least 14 points. The Mustangs' average margin of victory is 24.1 points per game.
- Only one of MSU's 10 games this season have been decided by less than 10 points — a 77-71 loss to Missouri Southern.
- The Mustangs struck for a season-high 10 3-pointers Saturday night against Nova Southeastern and have hit 18-of-41 from long distance (43.9 percent) over the past two games.
- Midwestern has out rebounded its last three by a combined margin of 67 (22.3 per game). The Mustangs have controlled the advantage on the boards in nine of 10 games this season.
- Junior guard
Thaddeus Rideau (Port Arthur, Texas / East Ascension HS (UAB)) erupted to lead Midwestern State in scoring with 15 points in each of the last two games. The Port Arthur native knocked down 8-of-12 shots from the 3-point line over the last two games including a season-high five Saturday night at Nova Southeastern.
Rideau scored a total of 21 points in MSU's first eight games of the season shooting 20.6 percent from the field (7-of-34) and 15 percent from the arc (3-of-20).
- Senior guard
Derrell Gibbs (Wichita Falls, Texas / Burkburnett HS) connected on three 3-pointers scoring all of his season-high 13 points in the opening half Saturday night against Nova Southeastern.
- Junior guard
Bretson McNeal (Minneapolis, Minn. / DeLaSalle HS (North Dakota State Science)) returned from a three-game absence to score 13 points hitting on 3-of-5 shots from the field including a pair 3s in 20 minutes against Nova Southeastern.
McNeal has netted 10-or-more points in six of seven games this season with the exception coming when he went down with an injury in first possession against Missouri Southern.
- Junior guard
Hershell Grant (Washington, D.C. / Roosevelt HS (Clarendon College)) enjoyed a solid all-around performance with 10 points, five rebounds and two steals Saturday night against Nova Southeastern.
- Senior forward
Abiodun Adegoke (Buford, Ga. / Mill Creek HS (Western Texas)) pulled down a career-high 12 rebounds to go along with seven points in Saturday's win over Nova Southeastern.
- Junior forward
Khapri Alston (Chicago, Ill. / Thornwood HS (Northeast CC (Neb.))) is averaging nine points and six rebounds over his last two outings after scoring eight points and six rebounds in 16 minutes Saturday against Nova Southeastern.
- Junior point guard
Danny Lawhorn (Hartford, Conn. / South Kent HS (Washington State)) dished out five assists in 12 minutes Saturday night against Nova Southeastern in his MSU debut.
THE HAGGERTY ERA

Nelson Haggerty enters his fourth season at the helm for Midwestern State as one of the top young coaches in college basketball.
- Haggerty boasts a 82-24 mark (.774) leading the Mustangs to Lone Star Conference championships in each of his three seasons as head coach.
- Haggerty earned NABC South Central Region and Lone Star Conference coach of the year honors in his rookie season of 2011-12 piloting the Mustangs to their third consecutive Elite Eight showing.
- With Haggerty on the bench (including two seasons as top assistant), MSU has advanced to three Elite Eights (2010, 2011, 2012) and to the NCAA Division II postseason five consecutive years.
