SCOUTING THE EAGLES

- OCU is currently tied for second in the Sooner Athletic Conference standings at 4-2 -- one point behind Oklahoma City (4-0-1).
- Oklahoma Christian rates sixth in NAIA Division I in goals per game (3.70), but allow 1.15 goals a contest.
- Freshman forward Jamie Campbell (Liverpool, England) ranks ninth in NAIA Division I with 1.25 goals per game and is second in assists per game at 0.90.

- Senior midfielders Jeffrey Raghoeber (Amsterdam, Netherlands) and Adam Kay (Bristol, England) lead the squad with nine assists apiece.

ABOUT THE SERIES
- Midwestern State meets Southwestern Christian for the 10th time on the pitch Tuesday night at the MSU Soccer Field.
- The Mustangs lead the overall series which dates back to the 1999 season, 9-0.
- This is the first meeting between the sides since MSU claimed a 3-0 win during the 2003 season.

MUSTANGS NOTEBOOK
- Midwestern State had its 11-match unbeaten streak snapped in a 3-1 defeat Saturday afternoon at 16th-ranked St. Edward's.
- The 11-game unbeaten string was the longest since the Mustangs rattled off an 11-0-2 stretch after starting the 2013 season with a 1-3 mark.
- Junior striker Albert Rodriguez (Dallas, Texas / Sunset HS (Northwood (Texas))) accounted for MSU's lone goal Saturday against St. Edward's. It was his third goal of the season and first since accounted for tallies in consecutive games against Colorado Mesa and Colorado-Colorado Springs on Sept. 7 and 13, respectively.
- Senior midfielder Andrew Power (Waterford, Ireland / St. Paul's Secondary (Northern Iowa ACC)) had a goal waved off 10 minutes prior to intermission Saturday at St. Edward's. It turned out to be just the third time in 13 games the Waterford, Ireland native did not produce a point for MSU this season.
- Power ranks 11th in NCAA Division II in goals per game (0.92) and is 10th with 11 total goals.
- Junior Ben Clarvis (Newton Abbot, England / Torquay Boys Grammar) and sophomore Paul Sunderland (Manchester, England / Wright Robinson Secondary) are tied for 21st nationally with six assists each.
- Junior goalkeeper Nick Petolick (Frisco, Texas / Wakeland HS (Oral Roberts)) ranks 36th in NCAA Division II with a 0.86 goals against average.
- With his next clean sheet, Petolick will move past Chris Robinson (15.5/1994-97) and into third place on the school's all time shutout list. He needs six more shutouts to pass Raul Herrera (21/2005, 09-10) for the program's all time lead.

HOME FIELD MYSTIQUE
- Midwestern State owns a 56-3-6 mark (.908) at the MSU Soccer Field since the start of the 2008 season.
- The Mustangs boasted a 44-match unbeaten streak stretching from the 2007 postseason into the 2012 season.
- MSU is currently on a 12-match home unbeaten streak since taking a 2-1 loss in double overtime to St. Edward's on Sept. 20, 2013.

 THE DOUG ELDER ERA
- Doug Elder is in his 15th season at the helm of Midwestern State.
- Elder remains NCAA Division II winningest active coach in terms of percentage at 215-49-28 (.784).
- Elder is a six-time NSCAA Regional Coach of the Year (2003, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011).
- Elder's teams have advanced to the NCAA Division II postseason nine times while making five national quarterfinal appearances twice advancing to the Final Four.
- Elder needs seven wins to overtake Howard Patterson (221-85-20 from 1973-89) as the program's all-time leader in coaching wins.

UP NEXT
- Midwestern State hits the road to take on Texas A&M International Saturday in Laredo before returning home to take on Eastern New Mexico Monday night.
