WICHITA FALLS, Texas -- Midwestern State plays host to Texas A&M-Kingsville in its final home series of the regular season as part of its Swing for the Cure effort Friday night at Mustangs Park.
Admission is free for Friday night's doubleheader with the Javelinas. The team will accept donations with all proceeds going to the Susan G. Komen Foundation for cancer research. First pitches are set for 5 and 7 p.m.
The series concludes with Senior Day on Saturday with a noon start time. MSU honors seniors

The Mustangs (35-12) ride a seven-game winning streak into the weekend series with victories in 11 of their last 12 games.
Freshman slugger
Katelyn Vinson paces the No. 2 offensive attack in NCAA Division II with a .512 average with eight doubles, 16 homers and 52 RBIs while sophomore third baseman
Kelley Schaefer leads the squad with 59 RBIs powered by a .458 average with five doubles and 11 home runs.
Junior catcher
Kim Jerrick carries a current team best 12-game hitting streak into the series. The Belle Plaine, Kan. native boasts a .435 average with 15 doubles, 16 homers and 49 RBIs.
Bingham is hitting .571 during her current seven-game hitting streak to raise her average to .400. The Arlington product accounts for 21 doubles, four triples, three homers and 47 RBIs.
The Mustangs lead NCAA Division II with a .591 team slugging percentage and are second in the nation with 67 home runs.
Freshman
Laci Belovsky leads MSU in the circle with the fourth most wins in NCAA Division II. The Grangerland product is 20-7 with a 3.53 ERA. Fellow frosh Kat Batey has won eight of her last nine decisions to improve to 15-5 on the season while posting a 5.19 ERA.
Texas A&M-Kingsville (12-31) lost 20 of its last 22 games including a 2-18 mark in Lone Star Conference play.
Senior shortstop Rose Stubbs paces the Javelinas with a .395 average with five doubles, three triples and one home run out of the leadoff position.
Stubbs is the lone TAMUK player boasting better than a .300 average as junior first baseman Adela Gomez leads the squad with nine homers and 38 RBIs out of the No. 3 spot in the order.
The Javelinas hit .261 as a team with a total of 14 homers this season.
Senior Denise Arnold leads Texas A&M-Kingsville in the circle posting a 6-16 mark with a 4.20 ERA, while sophomore Katrisha Arocha is 6-14 with a 5.01 ERA.
