The Mustangs lone point came in doubles play as senior Leah Roberts got into action for the first time this season, teaming with Taylor Coffman to win at No. 3 over Florencia Tornero and Antonia Moberg 8-6.

"It was a really gutsy performance today for Leah Roberts," said MSU Coach Scott Linn.  "She played hard and was a bright spot out there."

The Aggies claimed the rest of the points.

MSU's Sarita Adhikary and Lindsey Holcomb lost at No. 1 to Amanda Moberg and Sara Londono 8-3, while the No. 2 team of Rozike van Rensburg and Lindsey Buenger fell to Julia Pukhaber and Elvira Sholles 8-3 as well.

The Mustangs were swept in singles, with van Rensburg battling to keep that from happening.

The senior took Amanda Moberg to three sets at the No. 1 spot before falling 7-5, 3-6, 11-4.

"Van Rensburg played a determined match," said Linn.  "While she fell back a set, I'm very pleased that she battled back to force the third.  She showed great determination."
