WINTER PARK, Fla. – The 35th-ranked Midwestern State Mustangs gave the 10th ranked Rollins a run for their money on Wednesday, but the Tars came from behind to hand MSU a 5-4 loss at the Martin Tennis Complex.
Midwestern (5-6) jumped out to a 2-1 advantage after doubles action and claimed wins at the top two singles spots. But the Tars (6-5) claimed other four singles points to take the match.
The Mustangs top doubles team of
Lindsey Holcomb and
Sarita Adhikary outlasted Kayli Ragsdale and Lisa Loft 9-7 at No. 1, with

"It's always great to have the No. 1 and No. 2 singles and doubles step up," said Coach
Scott Linn. "We need to make better adjustments during singles competition to get a team win over a top 20 program. But the ladies continue to improve."
