Midwestern State definitely knows how to fill up a stat sheet.
Seventeen different Mustangs have scored field goals this season as nine players are averaging at least 5 points a game.
But the Mustangs are paced by a trio of players averaging double figures.
Junior
Anthony Harris (12.3 points, 5.3 rebounds) has enjoyed a brilliant two-game stretch prior to the Christmas Break. The Fort Worth O.D. Wyatt product poured in a season-high 33 points against Texas A&M-Kingsville before putting on a solid all-around performance with 16 points, five rebounds, five assists and two blocked shots against Abilene Christian.
The 6-8 forward is averaging 19.6 points and 8.2 rebounds in his five games under the dome this season.
Junior guard
JaMichael Rivers (12.2 points, 3.4 rebounds) has scored in double figures in three of his last four outings beginning with a season best 30-point explosion in a 65-61 come-from-behind win at Angelo State.
Senior guard
Michael Loyd has struggled from the arc over the last four games (1-for-18) but has used his speed and athleticism to get to the basket and make 13 of his 21 efforts (.619) inside the arc. MSU's defensive catalyst netted a team-high 15 points at Incarnate Word and had 10 points and six assists last time out against Abilene Christian.
