Eastern New Mexico is picking up steam heading into Lone Star Conference South Division play.
The Greyhounds (7-7, 2-0) have won four straight games including divisional wins over Texas A&M-Kingsville and West Texas A&M after picking up road victories in their final to crossover contests at East Central and Southeastern Oklahoma.
All this after ENMU dropped five consecutive games from Dec. 2-20, 2010, but the Greyhounds have found the mix coming out of the Christmas break and are winning by 12.3 points per game.
Junior Max Carrier paces a trio of Eastern New Mexico players in double figures. The 6-7 forward scores 14.3 points and pulls down 8.0 rebounds per game.
Junior guard Stefan Mirabal is the 'Hounds top perimeter threat notching 13.6 points a game while knocking down the 3-point shot at a 43.5-percent clip including 2.6 makes a contest.
Junior forward Aaron Edwards comes off of the bench to scored 10.3 points and pulled down 5.6 rebounds a game while senior guard Victor Reid (8.8 points, 3.7 rebounds), senior forward Tyler Jefferson (8.8 points, 4.5 rebounds) and junior guard Tralyn Harden (7.7 points) add to ENMU's solid offensive mix.
The Greyhounds score 75.9 points a game and allow 76.4.
