First pitch is set for 2 p.m.

Scouting the RiverHawks

Northeastern State has won nine of its last 17 games since opening the season with a 6-21 mark.

The RiverHawks are currently fifth in the LSC North Division race at 6-10 and are a game behind Southeastern Oklahoma (5-7) for the fourth in the race for the fourth and final berth in the LSC Championship in two weeks in Durant.

Freshman infielder/pitcher Cayce Coleman paces Northeastern's attack with a .339 average while hitting seven doubles.

Freshman Lisa Ripperger (.326, 5 2B, 6 HR, 25 RBI) and sophomore Shelbi Bowin (5 2B, 7 HR, 28 RBI) give the RiverHawks power as the team's run producers, but NSU lacks in overall team speed.

Northeastern has been successful on just six of its 12 steal attempts this season, while allowing the opposition to swipe 69 bases on 83 attempts.

Coleman is also the RiverHawks top option in the circle posting an 11-10 mark with a 4.42 ERA in 156 2/3 innings, while senior Lacee Craig is 3-13 with a 6.22 ERA in 107 innings.
