WICHITA FALLS, Texas - Midwestern State hung on for a 5-3 win over Northwest Missouri State Tuesday afternoon at the MSU Tennis Center.

The win as the second-straight and fourth in the last five matches for the Mustangs, who improved to 10-5 on the season.

Alex Odell-Michels and Lindsey Holcomb teamed for an 8-3 win over Erika Leston and Lindsay Weideman at No. 1 doubles, while Monica Graff and Leah Roberts doubled up Northwest Missouri's Lisa Pendrak and Veronica Castilla 8-4 at No. 2.

Odell-Michels, Graff and Holcomb each cinched straight-set wins in singles to secure the victory.

Midwestern State faces Lone Star Conference foe East Central next Wednesday in Ada, Okla.

Northwest Missouri slipped to 5-5 on the season.
