WICHITA FALLS, Texas - Midwestern State stayed on the attack to come away with a convincing 87-66 Lone Star Conference crossover win over Texas A&M-Commerce Monday night at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.

Katiya Jackson led the charge with her first collegiate double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds as the rolled out to a 16-point halftime lead and led by as many as 23 points in the second half.
The Burkburnett product typified MSU's effort by adding four assists with a block and three steals.

Savannah Carver ripped the nets for 17 points and grabbed seven rebounds off of the bench as the Mustangs claimed their second-straight win to improve to 4-5 on the season.
The Mustangs enjoy an two-week idle period before taking on Newman (Kan.) on Monday, Jan. 3. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m. at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
