TAHLEQUAH, Okla. - Freshman
VcMor Eligwe delivered the game winner in his second consecutive match to lead No. 2 Midwestern State to a 2-1 Lone Star Conference win over Northeastern State Friday afternoon at RiverHawks Pitch.
The Mustangs improved to 11-0 which is the best start in the storied history of MSU soccer while completing the first loop through the LSC unscathed at 4-0.

Chad Caldwell drew first blood to give Midwestern a 1-0 lead in the 68th minute on as
Ryan Spence redirected a corner to Caldwell who headed in his fourth goal of the season.
Northeastern State rallied to tie the match at 1-1 in the 76th minute when Andre Hernandez scored off of an assist from Josh Hughes.
It took the Mustangs 90 seconds to respond on Eligwe's tally off of an assist from
Bryce Taylor.
Northeastern State dropped its third straight match to go to 5-7 on the season and 0-4 in league play.
The Mustangs take on Newman Sunday afternoon in Wichita, Kan. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m.
