LAWTON, Okla. - No. 28 Midwestern State took four singles' contests against No. 33 East Central Friday afternoon at the Cameron Tennis Courts, but that was not enough to overcome a Tigers' doubles sweep as the Mustangs fell 5-4.
East Central, which improved to 4-0, claimed wins at each of the doubles' matches as Cristobal Nunez/Camilo Munoz defeated

The Mustangs rallied behind Stipanic four four singles as wins as the sophomore from Montenegro dusted Cristobal Nunez 6-0, 6-2 at No. 1, while Bataller survived Munoz 3-6, 7-6, 6-2 at No. 4, Vilarinho beat Sholty 7-6, 6-4 at No. 5 and Meeks took John Sedlak in a tiebreaker at No. 6 4-6, 6-1, 10-4.
Midwestern State dipped to 4-3.
