WICHITA FALLS, Texas - Maranda Bishop dashed home on a passed ball in the bottom of the seventh inning to lift Midwestern State to its seventh-straight win at Mustangs Park by a 4-3 margin Friday afternoon against Southwestern Oklahoma State.
The Mustangs have now won 14 of their last 15 games to move to 15-5 on the season and 4-0 in Lone Star Conference North Division play while the Bulldogs fell to 8-12 and 3-5.
Bishop laced a one-out double to center field and advanced to third on
Nicki Duff's groundout to third base before scoring to give the Mustangs the victory.
Midwestern State plays host to Abilene Christian in a non-division tilt Saturday afternoon at Mustangs Park. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.

Jessica Rodriguez pushed MSU to a 3-0 lead with an RBI-single in the third inning, but the Bulldogs battled back to tie it with a run in the fourth and two in the sixth.
Freshman
Kaelee Kramer came on to pitch the top of the seventh to earn her first collegiate win in relief of Tanner, who allowed three runs on eight hits with seven strikeouts in six innings of work.
Bishop and
Lauren Craig paced MSU's seven-hit attack with two hits each while freshman third baseman
Mallory Mooney had her 13-game hitting streak snapped by going 0-for-2 with a walk.
