Sesley Graves put down a match-high 10 kills and hit .562 Tuesday night in a non-conference match at The Burg Center.
Unfortunately, the rest of the Mustangs managed a combined 15 kills and hit -.056 as Dallas Baptist swept to a 25-13, 25-18, 25-23 win to improved to 12-13 on the season.
MSU, which dropped its second-straight match to fall to 5-19, continued to experience its road woes as the Mustangs are now 4-11 away from D.L. Ligon Coliseum in 2009.
Outside hitter Lauren Zegarelli finished with 10 kills and hit .444 with a pair of solo blocks to lead the Patriots, who would finish the match with a .177 team hitting percentage.
The Patriots recorded nine total team blocks and out dug Midwestern by a 64-49 margin as the Mustangs managed just a .024 team attack percentage despite Graves' big night.

Kiara Jordan finished with 112.
Graves and junior middle blocker
Lauren Bayer finished with three total blocks each to help the Mustangs to seven total team blocks.
Midwestern returns to Lone Star Conference play with a pair of road matches later this week beginning at Abilene Christian on Thursday before taking on Angelo State on Saturday.
