WICHITA FALLS, Texas – Midwestern State's
Allison Schreiber passed another milestone as the Mustangs rolled to their 15th-straight win in a 25-13, 25-11, 21-25, 25-15 romp over Southwestern Oklahoma State in a Lone Star Conference contest Saturday afternoon at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
The 5-10 senior from Windthorst notched her 5,000th career assist when she set
Hillary White to give the Mustangs a 20-10 second-set edge.

Venera Flores-Stafford said. "She did the same thing today that she's done throughout her career. I'm very proud of her, but I wish I had another Allison."
Schreiber finished the match with 41 assists while directing the Mustangs' attack to a .352 kill percentage, but she was also effective on the attack as she had seven kills in 10 dump effort. Schreiber also added nine digs.
The Mustangs extended the best start in school history to 15-0 and are now 2-0 in the Lone Star Conference, while Southwestern Oklahoma State dropped to 5-9 and 0-2.
MSU jumped on the Bulldogs in the opening two sets as the Mustangs hit .379 and .371 while limiting Southwestern to .000 and .100 to claim 25-13, 25-11 wins.
But SWOSU came back to hit .419 in the third set to claim a 25-21 victory before the Mustangs took control to close out the Bulldogs in four.
Senior outside hitter
Jessica Ransom paced the Mustangs' offense with 12 kills and committed just one error, while senior opposite hitter
Whitney Maxwell finished with 10 kills and two errors.
Middle blockers
Alysha Pritt and
Sesley Graves finished with eight and seven kills, respectively, while freshman
Hillary White had five.
Senior libero
Shay Velasquez led the back row with 13 digs, while
Kiara Jordan had eight and
Katie Guehler added seven.
The Mustangs can match the longest winning streak in school history Monday when they travel to Plainview to take on Wayland Baptist. First serve is set for 7 p.m.
