WICHITA FALLS, Texas - West Texas A&M had four players score in double digits Wednesday night as the Lady Buffs went on to beat Midwestern State 89-51 at D.L.Ligon Coliseum.
After taking the lead in the third minute of the game, a 3-pointer by Jamie Dreiling put the Lady Buffs on top and that is where they would stay for the rest of the night.
The Mustangs were led by seniors
Stacey Staten and
Kaylon Hodge and junior
Rosy Ofoegbu, who all added nine points a piece. Staten would also add four steals to her performance.
Lone Star Conference scoring leader Emily Brister had a game-high 18 points, pulled down seven boards, blocked three shots and added three steals on the night.
 Chelsea Blackshear added 17 points for the Lady Buffs while Jamie Dreiling added 16 and Joni Unruh had 12.
MSU returns to action when it travels to Kingsville, Texas to take on the Javelinas. Tip off is set for 2 p.m.
