DURANT, Okla. - Southeastern Oklahoma State held on for close 25-23 wins in the opening two sets, then put away No. 21 Midwestern State 25-16 in the set Saturday afternoon at Bloomer Sullivan Gym.
The Mustangs, who fell to 19-5 overall and 3-2 in the Lone Star Conference, have now lost their last three matches and five of its last six after opening the season with 18-straight wins.
The Savage Storm improved to 14-8 and 2-4.

The Mustangs ran out to a 17-11 lead in the second set, but 11 MSU attack errors allowed the Savage Storm to claw back for a 25-23 win to take a commanding two-set lead.
