WICHITA FALLS, Texas - Andrea Buben and
Kaylon Hodge led Midwestern State with seven points each as Midwestern State fell to Northeastern State 54-35 Thursday night at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
The Mustangs fell to 6-5 on the season, while the Riverhawks improved to 6-7.
The Riverhawks were led by Verressa Gaston, who had 18 points and 16 rebounds. Jessica White added 17 points and four rebounmds.
Going into halftime, Northeastern State had a 29-19 lead.
Northeastern State held MSU to a season low 23.6% shooting.
MSU concludes it's four-game homestand Saturday night against University of Central Oklahoma. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
