Mustangs fall to Central Oklahoma, 76-69

WICHITA FALLS, Texas - Central Oklahoma's Cassidy Pillow dropped in a game-high 20 points to lead Central Oklahoma to a 76-69 win over Midwestern State Saturday night at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.

The Mustangs, who fell for the second-straight time after at home after starting the season 4-0, are now 5-6 on the season.

Midwestern State jumped out to an 18-13 lead after sophomore Andrea Buben hit a jumper in the paint with 12:19 to go in the first half.

But the Bronchos responded with a 10-0 run to take the lead for good as the Mustangs were unable to pull any closer than three the rest of the way.

Buben lead a group of four Mustangs in double figures with 14 points, while Brittni Morrison had 12, Brandy Moore added 11 and Tiffany Cook notched 10.

Midwestern State will hit the road for its final two crossover contests next week at East Central (Okla.) and Southeastern Oklahoma State before kicking off Lone Star Conference South Division play the following week.
