WICHITA FALLS, Texas - After a hard fought game from Midwestern State, the Mustangs came up short losing to Tarleton State 70-61 in their Lone Star Conference opener Wednesday night at D.L. Ligon Coliseum.
MSU was led by Junior
Brandy Moore with 17 points.
Kaylon Hodge added 11 points and six boards, while
Rosy Ofoegbu scored ten points and had six rebounds.
Tarleton State was led by Kendal Reddell who add 15 points. Jamie Ansley added eight boards.
With the loss, the Mustangs fall to 6-8 on the season and 0-1 in Lone Star Conference play. TSU improves to 10-4 and 1-0 in LSC play.
Midwestern State returns to action when it hosts Texas A&M Kingsville on Saturday. Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
