Lauren Pineda enters her first year as the Women’s Student Assistant Tennis Coach for the Mustangs.

Pineda garnered All-Lonestar Conference Honors in 2013, 2014 and 2016 while helping the Mustangs to four straight NCAA National Tournaments, including a program best Elite Eight appearance in 2015.

During her sophomore campaign, Pineda posted an impressive 23-4 doubles record and finished the year ranked ninth, with partner Amy Clifton, in the South Central Regional rankings. Pineda finished her MSU career ranked fifth on the all-time wins list with a record of 118-43 (.733).
