    Strength & Conditioning Coach
Kevin M’Pindou joined the Midwestern State University strength and conditioning staff as a graduate assistant in the summer of 2025. In this role, he assists with Football, working primarily with the Skills group, and serves as the Lead Strength and Conditioning Coach for Cross Country/Track & Field and Women’s Basketball. He is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Exercise Physiology at Midwestern State University.

Before joining Midwestern State, M’Pindou built his experience through internships with a variety of collegiate and professional organizations. In the spring of 2025, he served as a Sports Science and Strength & Conditioning intern with the University of Maryland football program, assisting with performance monitoring using Catapult GPS technology and force plate analysis, in addition to assisting with on-field and weight room sessions.

Prior to Maryland, he interned with Stanford University’s football program, working closely with offensive and defensive linemen and supporting return-to-play athletes. Before moving to the United States, he completed a season-long internship with the Calgary Flames of the National Hockey League during the 2022–23 season.

A former high-level athlete, M’Pindou earned his bachelor’s degree in criminology with a minor in psychology from the University of Ottawa, where he competed on the varsity track and field team. He was team captain in 2018 and enjoyed a solid career as a Track & Field athlete, highlighted by a finalist appearance in the 400m hurdles at the 2017 Canadian Track & Field Championships. That same year, he earned a silver medal in the 4x400m relay and was a finalist in the 400m hurdles at the Canada Summer Games.
