Antonio Herran begins his second season as a graduate assistant coach at his alma mater in 2014-15.
The Medellin, Colombia native enjoyed a solid four-year collegiate career at MSU helping the Mustangs to their first Lone Star Conference championship as a senior while earning All-LSC honorable mention in 2013.
Herran enjoyed his most successful season as a senior chalking up countable scores in 21 of his 25 rounds while helping MSU qualify for its fourth consecutive NCAA Division II Super Regional.
He competed in 35 tournaments during his career posting an average score of 77.42 with six Par-or-better rounds and one round in the 60s.
Herran, who earned LSC All-Academic honors as a senior, completed his bachelor’s in psychology in 2013 and is current working toward a postgraduate degree.
