was 12-9 in singles overall… was 9-7 at No. 1 singles, 3-0 at No. 2 singles and 0-2 at No. 3 singles… was 6-2 against Lone Star Conference opponents in the regular season… won four matches against ranked opponents… finished No. 38 in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association national rankings of NCAA Division II singles players… won seven of eight matches at No. 1 singles from March 18 – April 19… earned a 4-6, 7-6 (8), 6-2 win over No. 4-ranked Sebastian Pjontek of Washburn on March 9 at MSU Tennis Center in a 4-3 loss for the Mustangs… posted a 6-2, 6-3 win over No. 70-ranked Tristan Vigneron at home on March 20, when MSU defeated Lubbock Christian, 5-2… rallied past No. 45-ranked Martins Abamu of Lubbock Christian in the LSC Postseason Men’s Championship Semifinals, 0-6, 6-2, 6-3, as the Mustangs advanced with a 4-3 victory… defeated No. 15-ranked Joaquin Bianchi of UT Tyler on April 13 at MSU Tennis Center, and the Mustangs defeated the Patriots in the dual match, 5-2…was a finalist in the ITA South Central Regional in the fall and received an at-large berth to the ITA Cup in Rome, Georgia… was an All-American alongside doubles partner Stephen Slocombe as the duo finished the season No. 7 in the ITA national rankings of NCAA Division II doubles pairings… Diaz and Slocombe were 15-5 at No. 1 doubles… became the third men's doubles team from Midwestern State to earn All-American honors… won eight of their last nine matches and were 4-3 against nationally ranked opponents, including a 6-4 win over Daniil Felker and Egor Shestakov of UT Tyler at MSU Tennis Center on April 13… posted a 6-2 win over Fernando Docters and Ramon Strassman of Ouachita Baptist… dismantled No. 20-ranked Lucas Hammond and Eita Ishikawa of West Alabama at the UT Tyler Invitational, 6-1… during a seven-match winning streak, defeated No. 48-ranked Killian Deameaux and Anis Ramchange of Arkansas-Fort Smith on April 19, 6-0… were 7-1 against Lone Star Conference opponents during the regular season… helped the Mustangs win the doubles point against UT Permian Basin in the South Central Regional at MSU Tennis Center, with a 6-2 win over Jonas Krahofer and Grzegorz Rudnicki, but the Falcons won the dual match, 4-3… earned All-Lone Star Conference First Team Singles and Doubles honors as voted on by the league’s nine head coaches...
Senior (2023)
posted a 12-11 record in singles… was 5-3 against conference opponents… was 9-9 at No. 1 singles…was 3-2 at No. 2 singles… defeated No. 13-ranked Martins Abamu of Lubbock Christian at No. 1 singles, 3-6, 7-6 (4), 6-3 in a 5-2 dual-match victory (3/28)… five losses in singles came to nationally ranked opponents… won four-straight conference matches from March 28 – April 8… won eight matches in straight sets… was 4-4 in three-set matches… ITA Collegiate Rankings placed him No. 8 in the region and No. 45 in the nation among Division II singles players… earned All-Lone Star Conference First Team Singles honors as voted on by the league’s nine head coaches... posted a 13-11 record in doubles… was 3-0 when paired with Juan David Duque at No. 3 doubles… was 6-5 at No. 2 doubles with Duque and 2-0 at No. 2 doubles with Stephen Slocombe… was 1-0 at No. 1 doubles with Duque and 2-6 at No. 1 doubles with Slocombe… five losses in doubles came against nationally-ranked opponents… Diaz/Duque defeated Juan Gonzalez and Marin Jurkovic of Southeastern Oklahoma, ranked No. 6 in the region, 6-4, at No. 2 doubles in a 4-0 dual-match victory (2/11) … ITA Collegiate Rankings placed Diaz/Slocombe No. 10 in the region among Division II pairings …Â

Sophomore (2019)
played a key role in leading Hilltoppers to a 19-7 record and a second straight Heartland Conference title to qualify for the NCAA Division II postseason... closed year at 64th in the ITA Division II final singles rankings... posted a 17-19 combined record including an 11-9 singles mark and a 6-10 doubles record... boasted a 9-5 mark at No. 2 singles winning six of seven matches from Feb. 23to March 9... teamed with Chase Morehouse to claim a 6-0 win over No. 33-ranked Tim Nutz and James Caddies of Alabama-Huntsville (3/21)...
Freshman (2018)
