Playing Experience
One of the most decorated Midwestern State volleyball players in school history as a four-year letterwinner from 2008-11. She became the first MSU volleyball All-American after ranking 10th in the nation with 6.03 digs per set as a senior in 2011. The two-time Lone Star Conference Libero of the Year completed her career second on the all-time digs list while setting program single season and single game marks.

Kiara Jordan enters her third season as first assistant coach at Midwestern State after enjoying one of the decorated playing careers in program history.
 
Jordan earned Daktronics second-team All-America honors following her senior season of 2011 as she was the first MSU volleyball player to garner national recognition during the NCAA Division II era and the program's first volleyball All-American since 1995.
 
The two-time Lone Star Conference Libero of the Year ranked 10th in the nation with 6.02 digs per set during her senior campaign while earning Daktronics All-South Central Region first-team honors. She was also named an honorable mention all-region performer by the American Volleyball Coaches' Association.
 
An all-around student-athlete, Jordan won the prestigious Marie Morgan Award for her performance on the floor, classroom excellence and community service as the most outstanding all-around female student athlete for the 2011-12 academic year.
 
Her breakout performance also earned her a U.S. Olympic Team tryout.
 
Jordan set the program's single season high mark with 631 digs in 2012 and graduated second on the school's all-time dig list with 1,936. She was also fifth on the all-time service ace list (138), third in service attempts (1,622) and first in service percentage (.975).
 
She also set the school's single match dig mark when she became just the fourth player to post 50 digs in a match since NCAA Division II adopted rally scoring during her sophomore season (2009) against Texas A&M-Commerce.
 
Jordan earned All-Lone Star Conference mention three times and garnered LSC Defensive Player of the Week accolades on eight occasions. She was also named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
 
She graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from MSU in 2012.
