Jake Ewart begins his first season as a graduate assistant on the Midwestern State volleyball coaching staff in 2022.
Ewart competed collegiately as a four-year letter winner at Briar Cliff University in Sioux City, Iowa. He was a two-time, All-Great Plains Athletic Conference second-team performer helping the Chargers to an NAIA national tournament appearance in 2018.
Ewart split time as a right-side hitter and setter at Briar Cliff leading the team in kills with 3.06 a set as a freshman closing his career with 1,086 set assists, 627 kills, and 412 digs.
He spent the 2021 season as a volunteer assistant for coach and former college teammate Jackson Lenoir at Tennessee Southern helping the Firehawks to a 23-12 overall record and into the quarterfinal round of the Mid-South Conference postseason tournament.
