Chris Schaffer begins his first season as a volunteer assistant coach at Midwestern State.
He served as an assistant volleyball coach for previous four years at Christ Academy helping the the Lady Warriors to a 38-8 overall record and a TAPPS state championship in 2018. He also took on the head coaching duties for the Christ Academy beach volleyball program.
Schaffer also enjoyed success mentoring at the club level leading a ZIVA 16s National squad to a fifth-place showing at the Red Rock Rave Qualifier during the Summer 2019 in Las Vegas. His team also qualified for the Tour of Texas.
