Daria Panferova begins her third season as a graduate assistant coach for both the men's and women's tennis teams after a stellar playing career at Midwestern State.

Following her second stint on the coaching side, Panferova was honored with ITA Regional Assistant Coach of the Year. She helped Tiffany Hollebeck and Casie Curry to ITA All-American Doubles Honors while leading Anda Ghinga to ITA Regional Rookie of the Year.

In her first season on the coaching staff, Panferova was instrumental in helping Ashley Ramirez become the all-time winngest No. 1 doubles player in program history. 

As a senior in 2018, Panferova was a first team All-LSC performer in singles after winning a program-record 18 straight singles matches for an 18-1 record and the best single season winning percentage in school-history at .947. She finished the season ranked No. 42 in singles. 

Panferova helped the Mustangs advance to the NCAA Round of 16 in her first season with the team, garnering first team All-LSC honors in both singles and doubles. She recorded a 14-8 mark at the top singles line while boasting a 22-6 mark in doubles. 

The Moscow, Russia native began her collegiate career at Northeastern State (Okla.), where in two seasons, she posted a 47-19 overall record and was named second team All-MIAA as a sophomore. 

She prepped at the Gorkovskaya School under coach Andrey Cherkasov.
