Julia Tucker begins her second season as a graduate assistant coach at Midwestern State following her playing career with fellow Lone Star Conference member Eastern New Mexico.
Tucker's charge is practice and game preparation.
Tucker spent two seasons with the Greyhounds. During her time in Portales, Tucker scored three goals and added two assists. She was named to the All-Lone Star Conference Tournament Team as a junior.
She began her career at Hill College, earning NJCAA Region V Division I All-Conference and All-Region honors as a sophomore. She was selected to the NJCAA Region V Division I All-Tournament Team as a freshman. In total, the Burleson, Texas native appeared in 32 games, collecting seven goals and 12 assists.
Tucker prepped at Joshua High School in Joshua, Texas, where she helped the Owls win three straight bi-district championships. Tucker was also a standout cross country runner, twice claiming Runner of the Year honors.
