Chelsea Knaack begins her second season as assistant women's soccer coach at Midwestern State working primarily with goalkeepers in 2019.

In her first season on coach Ryan Spence's staff, Knaack helped the Mustangs to a 2-13-3 record with a pair of shutouts.

Playing Career
Knaack enjoyed a standout collegiate playing her final two seasons at Texas A&M International where she led the Heartland Conference and ranked 10th in NCAA Division II in total saves and 15th in saves per games during her senior campaign in 2015.

Prior to TAMIU, Knaack helped College of the Lake County to 33 wins over two seasons in 2012 and 2013. She ranked third in NJCAA Division I in save percentage as a sophomore at .910 and fifth with a 0.46 goals against average as the Lancers posted a 17-5 mark while sweeping six conference matches.

Knaack posted a 0.79 goals against average as a freshman and rated eighth nationally with a .887 save percentage leading Lake County to a 16-3-1 mark.

She was named school's top athlete as a sophomore while earning conference player and goalkeeper of the year honors.

Personal
An aspiring actress in comedy, Knaack earned her associate degree in fine arts from Lake County in 2013 and a bachelors in sociology with a theater minor from Texas A&M International in 2016.
