Anna Molen enters her first season as a student-assistant coach after enjoying a standout playing career at Midwestern State.
Molen played a role in helping the Mustangs to three NCAA Division II playoff appearances (2010, 2011, and 2013) as a part of two Lone Star Conference championship squads in 2011 and 2013.
The Flower Mound native earned All-LSC first-team honors as a senior in 2013 after helping MSU post nine shutouts and leading a back line which ranked 46th in NCAA Division II with a 0.824 goals against average.
Molen's lone collegiate tally proved to be the game winning goal against West Texas A&M on Oct. 25, 2013.
Overall, she appeared in 71 matches during her career including 16 starts as a sophomore and 12 as a junior at the center back position.
The 2010 graduate of Flower Mound Marcus High is scheduled to complete her bachelor's degree in the fall of 2014 from MSU.
