Freshman (2023-24)

appeared in nine games… averaged 1.6 points per game… scored a season-high seven points on 3-of-11 shooting in an 85-59 loss at Oklahoma Baptist (11/21)… played a season-high 14 minutes in a 90-49 loss to Missouri Southern State and was 3 of 4 from the free-throw line with two rebounds (11/25)… dished out two assists in a 70-67 loss at St. Mary’s (12/06)… averaged seven minutes per game…

At Pflugerville High School

played under the direction of head coaches April Hundl and Brooke Busby… named to the Academic All-District team… told the Austin American-Statesman in April of 2021, “Basketball is fun for me when coach puts me on the top scorer and I lock up on defense. I enjoy being the key defensive player because I feel once I shut down the key player it is time for my team to take over. Defense wins games.” Also said her favorite play was “playing intense defense and I get the steal and finish the play with an and-one.”… she said her favorite memory was “my freshman year when we played Clear Brook and we won 73-50. I got an and-one from the 3-point line, and my whole team and the stands went crazy.”

Personal

daughter of Jason Gomez and Lashondra Washington… sisters are Skylah Sorrells and Luna Gomez… enjoys playing with dogs, coloring and playing video games… loves pictures of the sky and playing basketball outside…her aunt, Glenda Washington, appeared in 103 games for Midwestern State in the 1980s and finished her career with 325 assists (3.2 per game) and 170 steals (1.14 per game)… Washington was a 5-foot guard, averaging 2.3 points and 1.5 rebounds per game during her career at MSU… played kickball, softball and volleyball while growing up…
