Earned two letters at Midwestern State helping the Mustangs to a Lone Star Conference championship in 2013 on the way to the South Central Region finals. Transferred to MSU as a junior after earning two letters at Southwestern Oklahoma State.

Ashley Rush enters her second season as a full-time assistant coach after serving in a graduate assistant role in 2013-14.
 
As a student-athlete, Rush played a key role in helping the Mustangs to a 2013 Lone Star Conference championship on the way to a South Central Region finalist appearance.
 
She played in 32 games making 10 starts at the point guard position as a senior as the Mustangs claimed their first NCAA Division II postseason victory in program history while posting a 26-6 record.
 
Rush also enjoyed success in the classroom earning LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition in each of her two years at MSU after transferring from Southwestern Oklahoma State.
 
A prep standout at Cashion (Okla.) High, Rush led the Wildcats to the Class A State semifinals as a senior earning Little All-City honors by the Daily Oklahoman and was an Oklahoma Girls' Basketball Coaches' Association and Oklahoma Coaches' Association All-State selection as a senior in 2009.
 
She earned her bachelors of education degree from Midwestern State in 2013 and is currently pursuing a master's in athletic administration.
