At Reagan High School

• a two-year letterwinner at guard for coach Terry Barron at Ronald Reagan High School in San Antonio, Texas.
• a second-team District 26-5A selection and named the league's defensive player of the year after senior season of 2008-09.
• helped Rattlers to bi-district titles during junior and senior season of 2008 and 2009.
• named to Academic All-State team.
