Jake Needham starts his second year as a graduate assistant Strength and Conditioning coach at Midwestern State in 2021-22.
 
He handles primary coaching responsibilities for softball and golf, but will assist in all other strength and conditioning aspects in each of MSU's athletic programs.
 
Needham, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), competed as a collegiate baseball student-athlete at Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, Colo. where he earned an Associates of Science degree in 2018 before receiving a Bachelor of Science in Health and Exercise Science degree from Colorado State University in the spring of 2020.
 
Needham competed in two seasons of varsity athletics at Northeastern JC participating in a baseball specific strength program. He worked with women's soccer and volleyball during his strength and conditioning internship at Colorado State.
 
Needham also gained coaching experience working with the Cage Rats Baseball Club in 2018, then with Rocky Mountain High School in Fort Collins, Colo. during the summer of 2018.
 
Needham is currently enrolled in the Master of Science in Exercise Physiology program at MSU.
