Amiee Duke makes her return to the Midwestern State softball program as a volunteer assistant coach.
 
As a member of the re-inaugural softball squad in 2004, Duke helped the then-Indians to a Lone Star Conference North Division title as MSU advanced to the NCAA Division II South Central Regionals in each of her two competition seasons at Midwestern.
 
Duke earned NFCA scholar athlete and LSC North All-Academic honors while earning LSC North honorable mention playing third base as a junior in 2004 and left field in 2005.
 
Her 109 assists during the 2004 season rank second in program history to All-American Kristen Stonecipher in assists by a third baseman. Duke also set the program's single game standard with seven assists against Texas Woman's University of April 30, 2004.
 
Amiee graduated cum laude with a BS in Kinesiology with an emphasis in coaching and a minor in history from Midwestern State in 2006.
 
The license massage therapist also received the National Fast-pitch Coaches' Association designation of one-star master coach.
