All-American in singles finishing the season ranked No. 13…posted a 17-10 record at the No. 1 flight…earned seven wins against nationally ranked opponents…defeated Southeastern Oklahoma’s 12th-ranked Carlos Anez, 6-3, 6-1, on March 31…first team All-Conference selection in singles and honorable mention in doubles…went 18-10 in doubles with Denney Norrie playing the No. 2 line…defeated St. Mary’s fifth regionally ranked team of Jose Antelo and Brendan Brown on Feb. 17, 8-6.

Junior (2017)
went 9-10 in singles playing primarily at Nos. 2 and 3 singles while posting a 4-4 doubles mark with Chris Norrie … defeated the Central Region’s ninth-ranked player in Nebraska-Kearney’s (2/24/17) Alvaro Arias, 6-3, 6-4, at No. 2 to help the Mustangs to a 7-2 victory in their home opener … clinched a 7-2 win over No. 20 Ferris State (Mich.) (3/7/17) with a 6-4, 6-4 decision over Steward Sell at line three … collected a 6-4, 6-4 win over Anton Waern at No. 3 singles to lead the Mustangs to a 7-2 win over No. 11 Georgia College (3/18/17) … defeated No. 21 Cameron’s (4/29/17) Mateo Velasco, 5-7, 6-2, 6-4, in the NCAA South Central Region #2 Championship match … also earned wins over opponents from No. 43 Newman (Kan.) (3/25/17) and No. 46 Oklahoma Baptist (3/25/17) … recorded doubles wins against three top-25 programs in No. 20 Ferris State, No. 21 Nebraska-Kearney and No. 23 St. Mary’s (Texas) (2/25/17).
