Denney Norrie serves as a volunteer assistant for the Midwestern State men's tennis team.
Norrie was a member of three NCAA Division II tournament teams during his playing career with the Mustangs helping the team to national quarterfinalist showings in 2018 and 2019 after reaching the Round of 32 during his first season with the program in 2017.
The Wichita Falls native earned All-Lone Star Conference honorable mention in doubles in 2018 going 18-10 with partner Vasudev Vijaraman.
Norrie also helped the Mustangs to an LSC championship in 2018 and postseason tournament titles in 2018 and 2019.
He was an Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athlete in 2019 and was a three-time member of the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Norrie is working toward of Master's in Business Administration degree from Midwestern State and is a teaching pro at the Wichita Falls Country Club.
